RE:Response – Flowers Whitley Corner Stormwater
Dear Ms. McDaniel,
This letter is written in response to the comments, issued December 31, 2020 regarding the
construction that is proposed to take place in Johnston County and is known as Whitley’s Corner.
A reply or explanation for each comment issued by yourself is provided below.
1. The submitted application form SWU-101 is missing pages 4 and 5 (page 6 may be
omitted).
Pages 4 and 5 have been included with this submittal.
2. Since this is a subdivision project, please submit the deed restrictions & protective
covenants (more information regarding this item is on page 5 of the SWU-101 form).
A copy of the deed restriction document is included with this submittal.
3. Please clearly delineate and identify stormwater easements and maintenance access (for
each pond) on the plans
Stormwater Control Measure maintenance and access easements have been added to
the construction plat, drainage plan, and the pond detail sheets.
4. The stage/storage tables on both SCM#1 and SCM#2 sheets are incomplete, please revise.
The state/storage table has been completed and filled out on the revised pond detail
sheet.
5. SCM#2 sheet is missing information for pond’s freeboard and 1-yr storm elevation.
The ponds freeboard and 1-yr storm elevation has been added to the SCM #2 detail
sheet.
6. Please provide riprap calculations for inlet/outlet protection.
Riprap outlet protection calculations have been included with this submittal.
