Mitigation for proposed impacts is required as part of the minor variance process, and may be satisfied by the following options: • On-site restoration or enhancement of the riparian buffer according to 15A NCAC 02B .0242(9) or .0260(9). (Preferred alternative) • Submission of an acceptance receipt from a mitigation bank approved by DWQ for the amount of mitigation required for the proposed impacts.
