There was a Natural Communities figure in the NRTR that I used as a general guide and determined the NCWAM classification based it’s riparian or non-riparian designation, landscape position and used aerial photography to determine dominate vegetation. I think this is pretty accurate, there were some areas, like cutovers, that made making a call a little more difficult. Let me know if somethings looks off to you and I’ll take another look at it. Do either of you know if there is a cheat sheet that can be used to convert cowardin classifications to NCWAM designations?
