Hi Greg,
I wanted to follow up on this one and close the loop on my end. I apologize for the delayed response, but needed to get
clarification from my DOT Team Lead and FWS related to the PBO for the bat and reporting/notification requirements
for bridge replacement projects such as these (minimal impacts and structure removal) in Division 6. Without getting too
far in he details, we will continue to operate as we have in the past.
Below are the associated Corps’ Action ID’s for each project:
SAW-2020-02063 Bladen Bridge 175 (Boots Swamp)
SAW-2020-02062 Robeson Bridge 239 (Burnt Swamp)
Attached is the NWP 3.
In hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish you all a Happy New Year.
Please let me know if you have any questions or want to discuss further.
Thanks!
Liz

The DWR has no objection to the proposed project and has found that the project does not require written
concurrence. Please be reminded that you must still comply with the activity specific conditions and the general
conditions set forth in GC# 4132 that corresponds to the USACE’s NW 3.
For future reference the DWR has assigned this project a DWR# 20201786.

Based on the current guidance to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Environmental Quality has
adjusted operations to protect the health and safety of the staff and public. Many employees are working remotely or
are on staggered shifts. To accommodate these staffing changes, all DEQ office locations are limiting public access to
appointments only. Please check with the appropriate staff before visiting our offices, as we may be able to handle your
requests by phone or email. We appreciate your patience as we continue to serve the public during this challenging
time.
