Brunswick County has received funding through the USDA -Natural
Resources and Conservation Service and the NC Department of
Agricultural and Consumer Services -Division of Soil and Water
Conservation to remove downed trees and vegetative debris
(snagging) from the ditches located on parcels of land as a result
from Hurricane Florence. By removing the woody debris, stream flow
should improve in these areas. In addition, a few select sites have be
chosen for sediment removal and streambank stabilization. This site
need a USACE review.
Please give a couple of dates you are available for a meeting.
