While planning for additional improvements, the City has revisited its planning projections. With growth across all sectors, the City of Mebane is now considering an expansion of its WWTP. Current permitted capacity is 2.5 million gallons per day (MGD), and the City is considering a range of future capacity scenarios from 3.0 MGD to 5.3 MGD. This letter is a request for speculative limits for an increase in the Mebane WWTP's discharge to Moadams Creek. The City is requesting input from you to identify and plan the necessary next steps in this process. We look forward to coordination with NCDEQ during this process of preparing the City's WWTP for the future. Please send correspondence to Dennis Hodge, City of Mebane Water Resources Director (dhod eg @cityofinebane.com) and Phil Ogden, Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. (Philip. Ogden(aN jacobs.com). We are also available via conference call to discuss the process of obtaining speculative limits for the WWTP. Yours sincerely, Dennis J.
