Jeff,
Attached are Annette's comments on the stormwater issues that need to be address for this major variance.
I've got a few additional comments:
1. We need the aerial photo that would .show that the area is forested and some written statement in the application
saying that trees are not going to be removed for this project.
2. In the hardship section of your write-up (5)(1): saying the impacts need to occur so that there is space for a future
building for possible revenue needed if there is a need for a turn lane is not adequate justification. This could send out
red flags to the Commission. Revenue is not a justification. Revise this language and email that section back to me to
review. Setbacks, site constraints, etc are good justification.
3. I wanted to make sure the trees you show on the plan sheet outside of the 100 foot buffer are not being counted
towards mitigation.
4. I need a draft powerpoint as soon as possible to review. Please email that to me.
Please get the answers to Annette's and my questions as soon as you can.
Thanks.
-Amy

Mr. Parker,
Please provide a data CD or ftp site with a full size version of the signed plans in TIF Group 4 format (black and white, not
grayscale or color). If the plans are too large to store in TIF format, they can be stored in PDF.
Thanks

Amy-
Some relatively minor comments from me (attached).
Some items I noticed that you may wish to check:
1. The planting details on Sheet 3.0 appear to conflict with one another.
2. The planting plan on sheet 3.1 looks awfully crowded - I know they are trying to get credit for enough plants but
I don't think we should suffocated the poor things!
Let me know if you have Qs.

Grassed bioretention cells are required to be sodded with an appropriate species per the note at
the bottom of Table 1 on page 12-23 of the BMP Manual. Daylilies, doll's daisies and Indiangrass
are not appropriate species for a grassed bioretention cell.
Please direct the discharge from the underdrain system serving Bioretention Area #2 to the flow
bypass pipe (which discharges to the dry detention basin).
The Bioretention Section Detail at the upper left hand corner of Sheet C-14.0 (Figure 1/14)
states: "Minimum 2.0 topsoil mix." Please reword this to clarify that the cell should be filled
with the appropriate engineered soil media per the Construction Guidelines Table, not topsoil.
