We are not impacting any of the buffer outside of the existing pond. Please let me know if this keeps us from having to appear before the committe. When we review them and are fine with them, then you would send the final copies of all the application info. When I say to resubmit, we'll need four hardcopies and one electronic copy of the corrected permit and ,-?!Ls and drawings. Thanks I'm going to forward you the title and description of the project that we need to have submitted by next Monday. Please revise it and send it back by Wednesday. You'll get an email message from me that I'm out of the office, but I'm checking emails when I can. -Amy Amy Chapman NC Division of Water Quality 401/Wetlands Unit 2321 Crabtree Blvd, Suite 250 Raleigh, NC 27604 Phone: 919-715-6823 Fax: 919-733-6893 Website: http://porta1.ncdenr.org/web/wq/swp/ws/401/riparianbuffers E-mail: amy.chapman@ncdenr.gov E-mail correspondence to and from this address may be subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties. Just wanted to make sure we were still on the same page. Once we make the revisions and are ready to send back, how many copies of the 3 stamped drawings will you need? Also, is there anything else that we will need to resend or send extra copies of (other than the paperwork that is changing with the comments)? Let us know if you find anything else and thanks for the quick response. I've got a few additional comments: 1. w c need the aerial photo that would show that the area is forested and some written statement in the application saying that trees are not going to be removed for this project. 2. In the hardship section of your write-up (5)(1): saying the impacts need to occur so that there is space for a future building for possible revenue needed if there is a need for a turn lane is not adequate justification. This could send out red flags to the Commission. Revenue is not a justification. Revise this language and email that section back to me to review. Setbacks, site constraints, etc are good justification. 3. I wanted to make sure the trees you show on the plan sheet outside of the 100 foot buffer are not being counted towards mitigation. 4. I need a draft powerpoint as soon as possible to review. Please email that to me. Please get the answers to Annette's and my questions as soon as you can.
