Pursuant to 15A NCAC 02B .0505 and .0508 the Division is requesting Chemours to increase
influent and effluent sampling of PMPA, PFMOAA, and HFPO-DA from Twice per month to
Weekly for Outfall 003 in NC0089915. In addition, the division requests that influent and effluent
Daily sampling for turbidity be added to the sampling regimen for Outfall 003. This additional
sampling shall be initiated immediately and last until the division notifies Chemours to do otherwise.
These requests are being made due to the operational and treatment issues and problems experienced
at the treatment system since it was started.
The Effluent page in NCO089915 would be changed as follows:
