East Alamance Quarry Issues
1) DWQ and COE stream calls
a) DWQ- Perennial from property line to property line
b) COE- Unimportant from Property line to below road,
Important from call point to property line
Mitigation Needs
a) DWQ- requirement for 1:1 mitigation for entire stream
Excluding segment within existing pipe- length =
b) COE- requirements of DWQ sufficient to meet COE

2) Stormwater System
a) Stormwater diversion from pond to southwest area
This is not a treatment proposal but is offered only as a means
of carrying water from the pond to a lower elevation and
provide hydration for the wetland system outside of the berm
area.

a) Bridge crossing estimate = $375,000
b) Culvert crossing estimate = $1,500"0
4) Public Meeting
MMM has discussed the meeting and has determined that the local
Community building close to the quarry is available for the public
meeting. MMM will attend and participate in discussion in the
meeting. MMM request the meeting be held within the time frame
of the reissued public notice as require Eby the COE
