The proposed project seeks to provide roadway improvements along South Trade Street beginning at Brenham Lane and ending approximately 750 feet north of Fullwood Lane. As part of the roadway improvements it is necessary to extend the existing culvert over Four Mile Creek. Additionally, the project includes an extension of the existing planned Four Mile Creek Greenway from its current proposed terminus, east of Trade Street on the south side of Four Mile Creek, through the proposed pedestrian tunnel and up the proposed sidewalk on the west side of Trade Street. The project will result in permanent impacts to 71 linear feet of stream (Four Mile Creek). The project will require an additional 59 linear feet of temporary impacts from the installation of impervious dikes and a pumped diversion to allow work "in the dry". Due to the minimal nature of the impacts, mitigation has not been proposed for this project.
