Hey Caroline,

Thanks for the quick response. I was out for the remainder of the week and I am playing catch up today.
I will add a note on the sheets specifying that the county parcel (Flat Branch Nature Preserve) will not be
used as a lay down area or encroached on at all. I’ll send you what the note looks like on the plans when
I have the plans updated. We will also bring it up in the Pre-Construction meeting prior to any work

I have had a chance to review the plans with Chris Matthews, Park and Recreation Division Director.

Looks like the work has been pulled off County property and is being conducted in the existing ROW.

We have had issues in the past with contractors in the area using the field as a staging ground without
permission. When a contractor is selected, please be sure to let them know that the Flat Branch Nature
Preserve should not be used for staging.
