The previous one was approved on February 6, 2015 and some of the activities following that are: 1. All SIU Permits were renewed and approved by PERC office on May 30, 2019. Currently the City permits 5 SIUs and 4 Industries with a local permit. 2. Headworks Analysis was submitted on January 30,2020 and approved on June 16,2020 3. Information about any new business that files for permit is faxed to my office by our Business and Community Development Department and the short forms have been sent to be evaluated. 4. Davidson County offices and the City of Lexington work on each industry entering our sewer services. This is ongoing and year around. 5. All water records are submitted yearly to our office to evaluate any rise in water consumption. A list of the current industrial dischargers has been prepared using the updated list from the NC Manufactures Register, the water billing records and certificate 500 Glendale Road - Lexington, NC 27292 - 336,357.7889 W W W.LEXINGTONN C.GOV LEXINGTON NORTH CAROL 1 N A WATER RESOURCES QUALITY FIRST of occupancy report form the Business and Community Development Department. Al the industries listed were sent a short form. The majority of the short forms were filled out and returned to our office for evaluation and the rest were contacted by phone. Only two long forms were sent out to Halyard and Parkdale. Both industries already have a local permit. It was determent that Halyard meets the definition of Significant Industrial User based on the discharge process water flow which exceeds 25,000 gpd. An SIU permit based on flow will be issued after the approval of this IWS. In conclusion, the 2020 City of Lexington's IWS included 144 commercial establishments/industries that contribute approximately 285,313 gpd (0.285 MGD), 4.4 % of the City's WWTP permitted flow, 6.5 MGD. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
