Hi Kaylie-
Given David's note that no permit is required for this project, I'm not sure if you still will be doing a WQC
review. If so, I did review this project, and here are my comments:
I have reviewed the information sent to me about the Seawall, Dock, and Boathouse at the Goldman Residence
project, which involves the replacement of a seawall and dock and construction of a boathouse, all along 115 ft
of shoreline, permanently impacting 0.06 acre and temporarily impacting 0.04 acre of L. Toxaway in
Transylvania County. The project should not impact wild trout and a trout moratorium is not needed for this
project.
Please note that concrete should be allowed to completely cure (at least 24 hours) in the dry in order to avoid
dangerous pH levels in the lake. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to review this project.
