KapStone Kraft Paper Corporation will begin construction of the natural gas
service line this week. Per Item #6 of the Conditions of Approval on the
permit, we are giving 10 days notice prior to crossing the two creeks. The
contractor proposes to perform the installation for each crossing between
October 4 and October 29. Please note that we will give you a courtesy call on
the day of the actual construction for each crossing.
This is a fast paced project but the installation dates may have to vary slightly
due to the weather conditions during this proposed time frame. In addition,
KapStone Kraft Paper will be coordinating with Dominion Power Company to
sequence a low flow period in this part of the Roanoke River to aid in the
creek crossing installation. This additional coordination may also create a
delay in the construction.
