Site KB Home Additional Stream Crossing Mecklenburg County Dear Mr. Rindner: On February 3, 2004 Mr. Alan Johnson of this office met with you regarding the proposed development located between Lancaster Highway and Marvin Rd. to discuss the construction of an additional stream/road crossing. In accordance with our policy regarding avoidance and minimization of impacts to streams/ wetlands, this office questions the need for the additional stream/road crossing that has been proposed. In addition to the proposed stream crossing, an access point is proposed from Lancaster Highway on the north side of the project and another access point is proposed from Marvin Road on the south side. In light of the two main access points, the proposed stream crossing to "connect" the development does not appear to be necessary. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me Mr. Johnson or me at (704) 663-1699. Sincerely, D. Rex Gleason, P.E.
