TO: Kelly Johnson `7 Joanne Steenhuis ?lt,l `? 2 2010 Division of Water Quality 1 FROM: Doug Huggett --' Major Permits Processing Coordinator SUBJECT: CAMA/DREDGE & FILL Permit Application Review Applicant: Homer Smith, LLC (Beaufort Harbor Marina & Yacht Club) Project Location: Carteret County, adjacent to the south side of Town Creek at 101 Cedar St., currently Homer Smith Seafood, in the Town of Beaufort. Proposed Project: Proposes to construct an 85-slip marina, clubhouse with ship store, 43 car asphalt parking lot, boardwalk, extension of an existing concrete boardwalk, all associated dock components, and the installation of two above ground fuel storage tanks. Please indicate below your agency's position or viewpoint on the proposed project and return this form by August 10, 2010. If you have any questions regarding the proposed project, please contact Heather Styron at (252) 808-2808. When appropriate, in-depth comments with supporting data is requested.
