for the revised drawings. I do not believe this needs a mod.
This doesn't really change the stormwater treatment here much, seeing as the main BMP for NW
quad is still the level spreader and the sheetflow through the buffer that it creates. (Now
ii`- they had decided to pipe the grass-swale bypass, THEN we would have a problem.) My only
concern is that changing the ditch to pipe will increase the velocity. You might want to
check with Hydro on that, because it could create a future headache for the Division folks
who have to build and maintain the levelspreader. If they believe its size can handle it,
that's fine, I just wanted to make sure someone at least considered it.
And the additional riprap on the SE quad is fine since it's still outside the buffer.
I'll include these drawings in our file for records, and that will satisfy DWQ's
requirements, permitting-wise.

P.'roject B-3919 has undergone a design change. Please compare the attached drawing to Buffer_
Drawings 9 and 10 and/or Wetland Drawings 8 and 9 (Bridge 140 over Smiths Creek).
Ai portion of the ditch draining into the level spreader has been piped (station 39+00 to
41+00). Also note the addition of rip rap at the end of the ditch shown in the southeast
quad (station 37+70 Rt). Buffer impacts and jurisdictional impacts have NOT changed.
Ilease let me know if we need to apply for a permit MOD.
