Some paving has taken place and approximately 40% of the project has been paved. Heavy rains continue to impact project. Some sediment and erosion control structures were in need of cleaning. The biggest area of concern is site around the steel plate pipe with steep slopes bare soil near the end ofthe pipe. Seeding and/or matting should be performed as areas are graded. It is imperative that all erosion control devices be maintained. Please continue with seeding and matting as required to protect State surface waters. US Highway 25 ]nsnection .iuly 2010
