Good Afternoon Gavin,
Hoping you can help me in helping the residents out in Country Woods East. From emails that have been sent I feel like
you're the spokesperson for Country Woods. I've attached the letter I've received back from Aqua North Carolina, Inc.
the overseers of the plant/operations for the plant on Hemlock Dr.
According to Mr. Robert Scheller's (NCDEQ) letter to Aqua NC he'd asked the residents of Country Woods East to contact
him each and every time there was a complaint about the smell from the plant and he had received no complaints.
I'm hoping you can help me - I am asking you to see if you can get word out to the residents of Country Woods East that
each time the smell is noticeable to lodge a complaint -- VERY IMPORTANT TO call/email the following: Mr. Roberto
Scheller at NCDEQ- [e-mail], 704-235-2204, Aqua NC— www.aguanorthcarolina.com, 877.987.2782.
and me — [e-mail], 704-238-3323 each time its noticeable — date and time are extremely important.
This will give us all tracking of the occurrences and hopefully, having more information, especially date the time it's
happening, it can be rectified. Without that information I feel our hands are tied. My husband and I went to the plant
the night of October 7 about 9:40 p.m. The smell was noxious and unbearable with 100 ft of the gate - so I know what
you're smelling.
