On November 05, 2020 a site inspection was conducted for the General Shale Brick facility located at the
737 Colon Road, Lee County, North Carolina. A copy of the Compliance Inspection Report is enclosed for
your review. The site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES
Stormwater General Permit-NCG070000, Certificate of Coverage-NCG070089. Permit coverage
authorizes the discharge of stormwater from the facility to receiving waters designated as Little Buffalo
Creek, a Class C waterbody in the Cape Fear River Basin.
As a result of the inspection, the facility was found to be in compliance with the conditions of the
NCG070000 permit. Please refer to the enclosed Compliance Inspection Report for additional comments
and observations made during the inspection. The inspection was performed as a close out inspection
and the facility qualifies close the permit
Please be advised that violations of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit are subject to a civil
penalty assessment of up to $25,000 per day for each violation. If you or your staff has any

Meet with Warren Paschal and all the paper work was in order. We walked the site and it was completely vegetated except
where the old building was located and it was completely gone except for the concrete floor. Looked at the outfall and there
were no problems there. The requested rescission is OK to approve
