W illiams@moreheadcitync.org> Subject: Morehead City 10" sewer application for permit along Old Causeway Trey forwarded to me your November 24, 2020 email asking for justification of the 10" sewer line proposed along Old Causeway Road and if the existing mobile homes are on septic systems. A copy of the plans is attached for your viewing. The mobile homes are on septic systems. The proposed 10" sewer extension continues the existing 10" sewer extension along Old Causeway Road that was installed years ago in anticipation of future extensions extending the gravity service another 2,000 LF, or so. The end of the extension is anticipated to receive two or more future force mains from the properties east of the end of the extension and also Pivers Island. Even without the future force mains, the line needs to be 10" to have the capability to accommodate the vacant property east of the existing sewer line and/or re -development of the existing developed property inasmuch as this is very expensive real estate with significant re -development potential. Please expedite issuance of the Fast Track Permit. If questions, please advise. Thanks, Tyndall
