The entire wwtp was under water following a localized flooding event in Cabarrus county that prevented sample collection. Friday November 13, 1 sent you another picture of the same location documenting water levels had just barley began to recede. Monday the water had completely receded but the majority of MLSS had been washed out as you would expect. In the past we have reseeded with sludge from Carolina Village just to lose it to another heavy rain event.... Wasting time and money and sludge to the creek again. Reseeding makes sense if we know there will be no flooding for several days. We have also cut blowers off during those events to allow for settling of sludge but we are not always there in time leading to a pattern of wash and reseed that lead to longer periods of non- compliance. This plant has shown it can rebuild biomass in a couple weeks. Effluent samples were taken this week. Based on that data we may change our position but as of now we do not plan to reseed. I will include this statement and other specifics on the EDMR corresponding with these events as you requested and like I have always done. Thank you for your guidance and we welcome any advice regarding this long standing flooding issue. Dusty Metreyeon Metwater, Inc. 704-506-4255 Sent from Windows Mail
