ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Middle Sound Sewer Project
PROJECT # 010093
New Hanover County
This Office is placing your project on hold until we receive the following additional information:
1) A set of engineering plans and details that show anti-seep collars in wetlands where required
(see condition #16 on the WQC # 3374 that is enclosed)
2) Correct the drawing that shows rip rap in stream at previous crossing (P60 at the end of Dunn
Place Extension)
3) Correct the amount of rip rap on drawing at the new perpendicular crossing on Dunbar Creek
(Same rip rap is shown on plan as previous crossing impact length)
4) Is there a second crossing of Dunbar Creek at the end of Dunn Place Extension? The plan
shows a crossing, but no other details are shown.
5) Length of stream impacts need to be specified for the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) (any
cumulative impacts to a stream over 150 feet will require mitigation by DWQ)
6) Detail that condition # 4 on the WQC # 3374 will be met along the creeks within the project
area and if not explain why;
7) Please send a complete set of plans to this Office when the changes have been made and a
copy to Cyndi Karoly at the 401 Wetlands Unit at 2321 Crabtree Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604-
2260.
Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending a copy of the information to myself and to
Cyndi Karoly, Raleigh Wetlands Unit [phone]. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we will assume
that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn. If you have any questions,
