Dear Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell:
This Office has reviewed your Pre Construction Notification application and is placing your
project on hold until we receive the following additional information:
1. Please provide a copy of the Jurisdictional Wetlands Determination Map signed by the US
Army Corps of Engineers;
2. Please provide a cross-section detail of the road with proposed side slopes and a detail of the
proposed culvert. The culvert must be placed below (approximately 12") the elevation of the
wetland, and installation of culverts in wetlands must ensure continuity of water movement
and be designed to adequately accommodate high water or flood conditions;
3. Please calculate the total impervious surface proposed for the project, and provide a copy of
the deed restriction that limits the total impervious coverage on each lot in Pelican Reef
Subdivision. Pelican Reef has an existing State Stormwater Permit that limits the total built-
upon area per lot. You can meet the stormwater requirements for the 401 Certification, if you
can demonstrate that you will not exceed the allowed built-upon area.
Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending a copy of the information to
