Yes the feasibility of this and several other layout options were considered during an Advanced Planning study for the
project. Due to the existing grade, slope requirements for military vehicles, and shallow rock in these areas an entrance
here was not feasible. Further, an entrance from these areas was determined to not be of sufficient length for the
required setbacks off the controlled entry point.

Good afternoon,
I wanted to ask about the plans for the McLeansville Readiness Center. In order to avoid some stream impacts, it seems
that the road to the center could approach from just west of Stream D, which would give more length if needed for a
checkpoint, or from more east of Stream C. It seems like altering the layout of the project could potentially minimize or
avoid impacts to streams. Has this been considered? Thanks,
