RECITALS
WHEREAS,The City intends to replace Bridge#34 over Knobbs Creek Tributary on Providence Road
in Elizabeth City,North Carolina(the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, The City desires RK&K to perform the planning and design services for the Project,
which are identified in the Scope of Work document attached hereto as Exhibit A("Services").
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and other good and valuable consideration,
the receipt, sufficiency and adequacy of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties, intending to be legally
bound, hereby agree as follows:
I. SCOPE OF WORK
RK&K agrees to perform the planning and design services identified in the scope of work, attached
hereto as Exhibit A, for the replacement of Bridge #34 over Knobbs Creek Tributary on Providence
Road in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
