Mr. Connet,
Yesterday I received a copy of Jennifer Frye's NW permit 39 with wording (in the
conditions) about a revised application and mitigation plan dated February 07. Do
you know if your consultant sent a revision to DWQ? Our office in Raleigh requested
additional information in a letter dated Aug. 30, 06. From what I gather, they
didn't get a response. I haven't seen the revision mentioned by Jennifer. (I have
searched my office and cannot find one.)
In order to get the 401 process going, will you please have your consultant forward
a copy of that revision to Ian McMillan in our Raleigh office and also one to me?
The Aug. 30 letter has a response time included, after which the project would be
considered withdrawn. With that in mind, it may be necessary to submit another
application for a 401 Certification.

dealings with your County would be DOT related and compliance for the
after-the-fact authorization for your other project on Cattail Branch.

I have several issues along Cattail Branch and Williams Mill Branch that I need
to get your opinion on prior to advising private property owners. Could we
schedule a couple of hours to look at these issues. Jennifer, I assume you are
the contact person for Clinton. If not, please refer me to the appropriate
person. Please feel free to suggest some dates and times.
