Bill, please contact Jim Snead regarding what the DWQ will need from you regarding an extension to due date for our
Request For More Information to you. Basically, you need to send me an email stating, "I request an extension to
December 5, 2009, for submission of the requested information". - Ian McMillan

Ian,
I haven't heard back from you regarding the e-mail I sent you this morning. In talking
with my neighbor, Jim Snead, who submitted a similar application, he indicated you needed
a specific time frame.
In this regard, please allow for a 60 day extension from today 10/7/2009 until 12/5/2009
to allow for a meeting of concerned parties to try and resolve the issues surrounding our
permit application.
Please let me know if you need anything further at this time.
Bill

Good morning Ian.
Per our conversation yesterday, I intended to ask you to allow until 12/15 for my reply. This date is contingent on a "to-be-
set" meeting (that hopefully will include you or someone from your agency) that may be held and concluded prior to 12/15
which would allow me to respond to your letter earlier.
Please let me know how I should word this otherwise.
Thanks.
Bill

In response to your letter dated 10/1/2009, please delay a final decision on my request until 12/15 (or earlier, if requested
by me).
A meeting among officials representing CAMA (Jonathan Howell or Dan Govoni), NCDENR (your department), and
Marine Fisheries (Trish Murphey) is being arranged that can hopefully provide positive results on this.
Please respond accordingly if I should do anything further at this point.
