Moss Neck Swamp flooded in Hurricane Florence and caused erosion to
the channel banks. The eroding banks are threatening the integrity of the
driveway that is the only access to a private home and farmstead. This
project has qualified for EWP funding. Plans are being prepared to include
grading the channel slopes to 2:1 and lining the banks with Class 1 riprap
from the culvert to approximately 175 LF downstream. Project is located at
1001 Moss Neck Road.
