Legal Description
LYING AND BEING in the Litaker Township, Rowan County,North Carolina, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Lying on the East side of U. S. Interstate 85 and the North side of Webb Road, adjoining the
property of J. D. Hurst, W. W. Hurst, and D. W. Honbarger; and BEGINNING at an iron pin in
the center of Webb Rd., J. D. Hurst corner; thence N. 20-24 E. 454 ft. to a stone, corner of J. D.
Hurst and W. W. Hurst; thence two lines with W. W. Hurst as follows: (1)N. 27-37 E. 1195 feet
to a stake;(2)S. 84-51 E. 225 ft.to a stake,Hurst corner in Honbarger line;thence with Honbarger,
North 426 E. 812.5 ft. to a stake in the centerline of Interstate Highway 85; thence with the center
line of said highway S. 46-51 W. 2835.2 ft. to a.point in the center line of Interstate Highway 85
and Webb Road; thence with the center of Webb Road S. 72-41 E, 1115,6 ft. to the BEGINNING,
surveyed by Hudson & Almond on April 3, 1963, SUBJECT to the right of way of Webb Road,
the Service Road parallel to Interstate 85 and the Ramp leading to it as shown on said survey.
.THERE IS EXCEPTED from the above tract,the following tract retained by W. J. Holding,r. et
al: Lying on the North side of Webb Road and the East side of ramp D leading to Interstate 85,
and BEGINNING at a concrete monument in the North side of Webb Road right of way and the
East side of Ramp D to Interstate 85 (said right of way monument having been placed by the
Highway Department); and runs thence with the North side of Webb Road S. 72-41 E. 200-ft. to
an iron pin; thence N. 17-19 E. 200 ft. to an iron pin; thence North 72-41 West 242.9 feet to an
iron pin in the East edge of Ramp D to Interstate 85;thence with the East edge of said Ramp two
lines as follows: (1) S. 19-28 W. 150.28 feet to a concrete monument; (2) S. 2651 East 69.4 feet
to the BEG INNING as surveyed by Hudson &Almond July 7, 1970.
