I am reviewing your application for coverage under NCG020000 for The Sand Pit in Clearmont, NC (NCG020967) noticed a few small issues with the NOI that will need to be resolved prior to issuance. 1) For question 17, you answered "No." However, this facility is within the Catawba River Basin. As such, please let me know the size of the stream buffers on site. This information will also need to be shown on the site plans. 2) No outfalls are listed, and at least one is required. Please let me know the location(s) of the outfall(s) and the nature of the water leaving the outfall(s) (Stormwater, Mine Dewatering, or Process Wastewater). This information will also need to be shown on site plans. I will also need a 2 new sets of site plans that show the above information. Please let me know within 30 days. Thank you so much!
