Please reference the "Request for More Information" dated June 29, 2010 sent by the
North Carolina Division of Water Quality (DWQ) in response to the permit application
submitted by C1earWater Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), on behalf of Mr. Lew
Bleiweis of the Asheville Regional Airport Authority. The permit application requested
written authorization for the construction of the Asheville Airport Cargo Hold Expansion
and associated infrastructure. The DWQ determined that the application was incomplete
and/or provided inaccurate information and requested eight additional items for review to
be submitted within 30 days. The Asheville Regional Airport Authority is continuing to
pursue this project and requests that the file remain open.
The Asheville Regional Airport Authority respectfully requests that the deadline to submit
additional information be extended. All requested information will be submitted by
August 29, 2010. Should you have any questions or comments concerning this project
