Stream — Discharge from Henderson's Assisted Living WWTP for outfall 001 is into an unnamed
tributary to Featherstone Creek [Stream Segment 6-55-12]. The segment is listed as supporting in the
2014 North Carolina Integrated report.
RPA — A Reasonable Potential Analysis (RPA) was not required for any parameters in this permit.

Implementation of 2012 Statewide Mercury TMDL — Mountain View Assisted Living WWTP was not
required to sample for mercury in the previous permit. Monitoring for Mercury is not required for this
permit because it does not serve a municipality. The renewal application indicated "other" for the facility
generating wastewater and "separate (sanitary sewer only)" for type of collection system. The WWTP does
not serve any industries or dental offices.
Compliance concerns?
The permittee completed facility repairs pursuant to a settlement agreement in 2020. This work closed 70+
enforcement cases for this facility and Henderson's Assisted Living (NC0071897). No enforcements have
occurred since completion of the settlement agreement.
