-7 Subject: Courtesy notification for the use of a NW 3 & 13 request for pipe replacement and riprap
V) placement on SR 1541 (Dymond City Rd) in Martin County.
This is a courtesy notification from the North Carolina Department of Transportation for the use of
a NW 3 &. 13 permit for the replacement of a pipe and riprap placement on SR 1541 in Martin County. The
pipe is located 1.1 miles east of SR 1538 (35.71248, 76.94273). The existing pipes are I @ 54" x 50'
Corrugated Metal Pipe and 2 @ 57" x 38" x 40' Corrugated Metal Pipe Arch. The pipes will be completely
removed, following NCDOT BMP's for pipe replacement. The proposed pipes are 2 @ 103" x 71" x 40'
Corrugated Aluminum Pipe Arch with headwalls on both ends. The pipe is located in an UT to Hardison
Mill Creek, Class "C" waters. Permit drawings and a topo map are included in this letter. If you need any
