On behalf of Duke Energy, Wood is submitting the Joint Section 404/401 Individual Permit
Application for the project referenced above. A pre -application meeting for the Duke Energy
Mayo Joint Section 404/401 Individual Permit Application Modification was held on 19 August
2020 at the Mayo Plant in Roxboro, NC. In addition to the Duke Energy, Wood, and USACE
representatives, Sue Homewood with NCDWR was in attendance. Based on discussions with Ms.
Homewood regarding the pre -filing notice, it was determined that the pre -application meeting
would serve as notice, and as such, the pre -filing form was not submitted.
