The North Carolina Ceriodaphnia chronic effluent bioassay proce- dure (North Carolina Chronic Bioassay Procedure - Revised *February 1987) or subsequent versions. The effluent concentration at which there may be no observable inhibi- tion of reproduction or significant mortality is 7a a (defined as treatment two in the North Carolina procedure document). The permit holder shall perform A*KlrjeLy monitoring using this procedure to establish compliance with the permit condition. The first test will be performed within thirty days from issuance of this permit. Effluent sampling for this testing shall be performed at the NPDES permitted final effluent discharge below all treatment processes. All toxicity testing results required as part of this permit condition will be entered on the Effluent Discharge Monitoring Form (MR-1) for the month in which it was performed, using the appropriate parameter code. Additionally, DEM Form AT-1 (original) is to be sent to the following address: Attention: Technical Services Branch North Carolina Division of Environmental Management P.O. Box 27687 Raleigh, N.C. 27611 Test data shall be complete and accurate and include all supporting chemi- cal/physical measurements performed in association with the toxicity tests, as well as all dose/response data. Total residual chlorine must be measured and reported if chlorine is employed for disinfection of the waste stream. Should any test data from this monitoring requirement or tests per- formed by the North Carolina Division of Environmental Management indicate potential impacts to the receiving stream, this permit may be re -opened and modified to include alternate monitoring requirements or limits. NOTE: Failure to achieve test conditions as specified in the cited docu- ment, such as minimum control organism survival and appropriate environmen- tal controls, shall constitute an invalid test and will require immediate retesting. Failure to submit suitable test results will constitute a fail- ure of permit condition. 7Q10 b f cfs Permited Flow 3.6 MGD Basin & Sub -basin erg 33 Receiving Stream /kC IML/I County Aft/l/ser /li.or / i/ 03od.T3 4Z,/yZd_,6oao /P 3.a MGd OR = U.3^, z q.F../• dots_ a7pto = 4♦ s002-49 3z.0 fs MOT f 3 C/S d'9y lslGv i l//i7 - /3rn, .✓ - _. I tyros! -tee.._ /.Pci7 L C6 . - - U -- ----- — -_- 'i , 077 /l/ r04 c 3 3 i i SUMMER MODEL FOR CMUD--MCDOWELL CR. ;i) CURRENT LIMITS OF 5 & 2 ------------- MODEL RESULTS -------..._._--..__ Discharger : CMUP.—MC'DOWELL CREEK WWTP Receiving Stream : MCDOWELL_ CREEK: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The End D.O. is 6.90 mg/l.
