Stream restoration project along Ararat River in Surry county. This section
of the Ararat River is degraded with vertical eroding stream banks and
large amounts of sedimentation. Restoration activities will occur from
Linville Road upstream approximately 2700 feet and will follow NCD
methodologies. This work is a continuation of multiple phases of restoration
work along the Ararat River.
