SUBJECT: CAMA / Dredge & Fill Application Review – modification request
Applicant: N.C. Department of Transportation, Ferry Division
Project Location: Cape Fear River at NCDOT Ferry Basin, Brunswick/New Hanover County.
Proposed Project: Request for a Modification of existing CAMA Major Permit 561 to allow
reconstruction of the dock at the Southport Ferry Terminal that was heavily
damaged during Hurricane Isaias.
Please indicate below your agency’s position or viewpoint on the proposed project. Due to the NCDOT
project schedule, your agency’s comments are requested as soon as possible at the mail/email
