ENGINEERING & SURVEYING SERVICES September 24, 2020 Division of Water Resources 127 Cardinal Drive Ext Wilmington, North Carolina 28405 RECEIVED SEP 20 CDEQ WIL 6TON RO OCT 202020 BY Re: Narrative - Sewer Collection System for The Town of Atlantic Beach Public Safety Building Permit # WQ0032160 Modification This is a request to allocate some of the previously permitted domestic sewage flow of The Groves collection permit # WQ0032160, owned by FMB At The Grove, LLC in Atlantic Beach, NC. This system was originally permitted for 120,000 GPD with an allotment of 1,000 GPD of flow dedicated to the future Town of Atlantic Beach Public Safety Building. This allotment was a conservative estimate on the Town's needs. This permit request is for 550 GPD based on the maximum of 22 employees at 25 gal/day/person. Flow from this facility will be gravity fed to an on -site lift station that will then pump through a 2" force main to an existing manhole that gravity feeds to The Groves treatment plant. The Town of Atlantic Beach will be responsible for maintaining the sewer service lines and the proposed lift station on site as well as the 2" force main that is proposed in the Town's public right-of-way. Fred Bunn, Owner of The Groves treatment plant has agreed to accept this flow as we propose the modification of his current permit. Items included in this permit modification package are an original and a copy of: 1. This Cover Letter 2. One check for $480.00 3. Fast Track Sewer Extension Application, FTA 04-16 4.
