Please consider the following response in regard to the above referenced notice. H2GO staff has been recording daily pump and haul volumes, providing the same to Brunswick County Public Utilities. Unfortunately, and I take full responsibility, I failed to note reporting requirements in the Pump and Haul Permit Standard Conditions. Attached are the pump and haul records for June through October for your files. Going forward, I will comply with permit requirements and submit monthly reports to your office within 10 days of the end of each month. I respectfully request that no civil penalties be assessed to H2GO. My failure to submit monthly reports to DEQ was an honest oversight. H2GO is now working to permit and expand the Belville WWTP to provide additional treatment capacity until such time the NEWWTP expansion is complete. These unexpected and significant costs have had severe impacts to our operating budget, and civil penalties will only serve to further impact our operating budget.
