The application indicates no surface water drainage structures within 200 feet of
the irrigation area; however, ditches are noted in the soils report within 200 feet
of the irrigation area. The ditches were also observed during the site visit This
section of the application should be revised to address these ditches.

The nitrogen and phosphorus uptake values used in the agronomic evaluation
are higher than those given for Goldsboro and Lynchburg Soils in Craven
County on the NCSU Realistic Yield Expectation (RYE) website. Justification
and clarification of the nutrient uptake values used should be provided or the
agronomic evaluation should be revised to use the applicable RYE values.
