NPDES CoC NCG500218 is hereby rescinded, effective immediately. This message is to close the
file for the Division, and for your records.
If in the future your company wishes to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters,
you must first apply for and receive a new NPDES permit.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, simply reply to this message.
PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the
only notification you will be sent regarding the CoC rescission. No hard copy will be mailed.

If there's no discharge to the stream, the CoC can be rescinded. All I need is a letter from Linder requesting rescission,

Hi Ray and Mary,
Thank you for speaking with me the other day Mary. The Division of Water Resources has a permit for Linder
(NCG500218), this permit was issued in 1993 for a facility located in Buncombe County at 177 Sweeten Creek Rd,
Asheville NC. This permit NCG500218 is a permit to discharge non -contact cooling water, boiler blowdown type of
wastewater to Waters of the State. The affiliations we have listed for this permit are a Floyd Kosinsky and a Fred
Roberts. Every 5 years we have to inspect these facilities and I have Buncombe County; 5 years ago when the inspection
cycle came around I tried to reach out to Linder to see why they still had this permit. I did that because I know the Linder
facility on Sweeten Creek Rd had long since been gone and another establishment was built on that site, yet someone

with Linder is still paying the annual fees for this permit. It has been 5 years and this facility is back on our list to inspect,
so I am again reaching out to see if Linder still wants to keep this permit at 177 Sweeten Creek Rd and if so with whom
shall I meet for an inspection. I was told you may be able to assist me. Please give me a call at your convenience to
discuss.
