Please give a brief project description below.

Piedmont Natural Gas needs to replace a damaged segment of 12-inch
diameter Line 5 natural gas pipeline with a new segment that will be
installed by horizontal directional drill (HDD) within their existing 50-foot
wide easement.
This site is located north of NC Highway 20 and south of McGougan Road
in Robeson County. Approximately 1,270 linear feet of the existing pipe is
proposed for replacement by HDD. This segment of Line 5 is located
beneath Little Marsh Swamp and its adjacent riparian wetlands.
The project may require pre -construction written approval under
Nationwide Permit No. 12 and General Water Quality Certfication No. 4133.
