The original and last time the shoreline stabilization was completed on this
lot was the late 80's/ early 90's. We are wanting to put an overcoat of
riprap over the existing riprap on the shoreline. There is no buffer clearing
or work that needs to be done except the overcoat of the existing shoreline.
There is also a 10', flat, grass path around the entire shoreline that the
work will be done from as well as a drive that goes from Carlton to the
water. All work will be completed from land and none from the water. There
is approximately 300' of shoreline to have the refresher coat. A new dock
was completed last year and has already received its Duke Energy license
tag.
