Please give a brief project description below.
The Davidson Farms property consists of Mecklenburg County Tax Parcel
Nos. 00725116 and 00725120 (approximately 30 acres), and is located
southeast of the East Rocky River Road and Kistler Farm Road
intersection in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (Figure 1).
The project area consists of undeveloped forested, single-family
residences, open maintained fields, and a sewer easement. The
surrounding land use consists of undeveloped forested areas, agricultural
fields, and single-family homes.
The purpose of this project is to develop the property into a single-family
subdivision. The project will provide residential housing for Davidson, North
Carolina to meet the growing demand for housing due to rapid population
growth in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
Under Nationwide Permit (NWP) No. 29, proposed wetland impacts
associated with this subdivision project are due to connecting sewerline to
the existing sewer infrastructure on site and construction of a soft trail. The
proposed impacts and construction plan details are attached.
