The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your 401 Water Quality Certification application for a
shoreline stabilization project on May 4, 2010. Your application was reviewed and a site visit conducted to
determine if the work can be conducted by land. Based on the observation by staff, this appears to be a difficult
task without impacting the buffer.
It is requested that the 30 feet buffer be identified and the trees proposed for removal be identified. Upon
completion of the above, please contact me to set up a date to meet at the site. Be advised that this project will
