The project consists of construction of a new sewer force main, connecting
the new Snow Hill Road Pump Station (currently under construction) to the
existing Eno River Pump Station. The proposed force main extends
approximately 2.78 miles. The proposed project generally follows either
existing sewer easements or roadway rights -of -way. A stream determination
for buffer applicability was conducted on 9/10/2020 for the project.
Installation of the proposed force main will be by open cut trenching for the
majority of the length. Trenchless installation techniques will be used to
install the crossing of the Eno River (mainstem and an oxbow).
