This was modeled to include Stone Highway MHP, (NC0060623). Note that Stone Highway MHP was included as ff it discharged at the
mouth of it unnamed tributary since it is both very close to the mouth and has a zero 7Q10, (which would mean that the stream would
be composed of its effluent only). This is a very conservative approach, but as is evidence by the output, it did not have an effect on the
possible limits predicted to protect the stream for Jose's Restaurant, (i.e. Secondary Limits with no additional ammonia limit).
This proposed discharge is approximately 3 - 3.5 miles from the city limits, (as projected on the USGS map) of Stoneville. Since this
town has a WWTP, (NC0028011) this facility should look into connection to this municipality. Chances are good that the interceptor
Ines run out from these projected city limits and that connection would be far less than 3 miles. I will recommend that option be
reviewed.
The engineer informs me that this proposed facility consists of septic tank and sand fitter. Even with Oil &Grease limits, (or an oil &
grease trap that catches even 95%) this parameter will accumulate and eventually blind the sand filter. We need to deal with this before
this facility has to go under SOC for not meeting its limits; connection to the above municipality would seem to be the best option.
The only other parameter which the water supply classification would call for is Total Hardness, (based on standard of 100 mg/I as
calcium carbonate). I will recommend monitoroing on the Fact Sheet since the limit, (based on dilution) would be 837 mg/I.
