Good morning, Andy,
As we approach eDMR, it is important that we keep outfall information up to date in our permitting system. It does look
like we've got 3 outfalls in our system (see attached). When the site has made the modifications, please have them
notify us by letter so we can remove the appropriate outfall.
Best regards,
Bethany Georgoulias

Bethany:
Thomas Concrete, operating under NC General SW/WW permit NCG140000, intends to install a wastewater
collection and treatment (solids settlement, pH adjustment) system at their Morrisville plant. The WWT
system will supplement the current system at the plant, which consists of a series of settlement pits and a
recycled water collection pit.
The facility has three outfalls from which they previously collected stormwater and wastewater discharge
samples (OF-001-003); as part of the system installation, one of the outfalls (OF-002) will be permanently closed
and the wastewater will be routed through OF-001.
What notifications (if any) are required to DEQ for the proposed changes?
Thanks,
Andrew M. Rodak, P.E.*
